Position: QA (Quality Assurance) Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Execute test cases and perform manual testing to identify defects, record findings, and ensure application functionality meets specified requirements.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for automation testing using Java programming language.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of software applications.
- Perform database operations using MySQL/PgSQL for testing and verification.
- Use bug tracking tools to report issues, track their progress, and verify bug fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and systems.
- Continuously update testing documents, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, based on project requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Any Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Knowledge of Java programming, including exception handling, file handling, database operations, and OOPS concepts.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Familiarity with MySQL/PgSQL for database operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
