Position: QA Engineer (Intern)

Job Overview: As a QA Engineer (Intern) at TAP Digital Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our digital products and services through comprehensive testing. Working closely with our experienced QA team, you will be involved in the development and execution of test cases, ensuring that our applications and software meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This internship role is ideal for freshers or those with up to one year of experience who are looking to kickstart their career in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and develop effective test plans.
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our digital products.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects and issues using designated test management software.
  • Conduct manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and other digital solutions.
  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to communicate test results and address issues.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance are encouraged to apply.
  • Working knowledge of test management software tools, such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent skills in writing comprehensive and accurate test cases.
  • Ability to perform quality test case executions and identify defects effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review and analyze specifications for testing purposes.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
