As a QA Engineer at Grapelime, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities:

a) Test Planning:

  • Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Identify test scenarios and develop detailed test cases to cover various aspects of the software.

b) Test Execution:

  • Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of existing features after code changes.
  • Execute performance and load testing to assess system scalability.

c) Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure the quality of the software before each release.

d) Test Automation:

  • Continuously explore opportunities for test automation and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results for quick feedback to the development team.

e) Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and enhance the overall quality assurance process.
  • Suggest process improvements to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.

f) Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Graduated in 2020, 2021, or 2022.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of manual testing techniques and tools.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and stay updated with emerging QA trends and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
