Position: QA – System Integration
Location: Hyderabad, India
System Integration, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and skilled QA professional to join our team in Hyderabad. As a QA – System Integration, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through comprehensive testing and post-production release analysis. This is an exciting opportunity for freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience to contribute to the success of our projects and gain valuable experience in system integration testing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test estimates and create test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Analyze software applications and systems to identify areas for testing and potential risks.
- Execute test cases and perform system integration testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and alignment of testing efforts.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously developed functionality is not affected by subsequent changes.
- Perform post-production release testing to validate the stability and reliability of software solutions in a live environment.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting of issues discovered during testing.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug reported defects, providing clear and concise steps to replicate issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system integration testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Collaborate with the team to create and maintain test environments and test data.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress, including test execution, defects, and test coverage.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Freshers to 2 years of experience in software testing or QA-related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Familiarity with test case design techniques and test execution.
- Understanding of system integration testing and experience in testing complex software systems.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience in analyzing requirements and functional specifications to create comprehensive test plans.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and experience in defect management.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or C++, to aid in test case design and execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team environment and liaise with stakeholders.
- ISTQB or any other software testing certification is a plus.
