Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Scripting:
    • Utilize your sound knowledge of Python-based scripting to develop and maintain automation scripts for testing.
    • Implement automation best practices and adhere to coding standards.
    • Continuously improve and optimize existing automation scripts for efficiency and accuracy.
  2. OOPS Concepts and Framework Development:
    • Apply your understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts to Python scripting.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of automation testing frameworks.
    • Collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
  3. Task Automation:
    • Identify manual testing tasks that can be automated to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
    • Analyze test requirements and strategize automation efforts accordingly.
    • Implement automation for repetitive and time-consuming tasks, allowing the team to focus on critical testing activities.
  4. Test Case Design:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test cases and test scenarios.
    • Ensure that automated test cases cover functional and non-functional testing requirements.
    • Maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Execute automated test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
    • Report defects and issues accurately and work closely with the development team for resolution.
    • Participate in regression testing and test suite maintenance.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in automation scripting using Python.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and their application in Python.
  • Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and their development.
  • The ability to identify manual testing tasks suitable for automation and implement automation solutions.
