Position: Associate Software Engineer

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
  2. Coding and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices. Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
  3. Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Investigate and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing. Provide timely resolutions and fixes.
  4. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components with other systems or platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
  5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
  6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and programming languages. Actively participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
  7. Agile Development: Contribute to agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including software engineers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery.
  9. Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and improve overall software reliability.
  10. Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  2. Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  3. Familiarity with software development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  4. Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
  5. Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks, and libraries, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  8. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
  9. Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and concepts.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
