Job Description:

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Python ETL Testing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python automation, a deep understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and experience in building automation frameworks for database testing and data pipelines. As a Python ETL Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data processes while also managing and leading a team of database engineers. This role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Framework Development: Design and develop automation frameworks for database testing and data pipelines using Python and Java. Ensure the efficient and reliable execution of ETL processes.
  2. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of database engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  3. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ETL, Data Warehousing, and Big Data. Apply your technical knowledge to address complex testing challenges.
  4. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their requirements, negotiate project terms, and provide technical insights and solutions to meet their needs.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of data processes by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies and test cases.
  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Communicate findings and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7.8 years of relevant experience in ETL, Data Warehousing, and Big Data testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Java for automation.
  • Proven experience in building automation frameworks for database testing and data pipelines.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Technical expertise in ETL and data processing technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
