Position: ETL Testing / Big Data Testing
Job Description: We are currently offering an exciting job opportunity for an experienced ETL Testing / Big Data Testing professional to join our team at Persistent Systems. As an ETL Testing / Big Data Testing expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ETL processes and Big Data solutions. You will work closely with our development and data engineering teams to design and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify defects, and ensure the overall integrity and performance of our data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and data engineering teams to understand the ETL requirements and Big Data solutions.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL and Big Data testing.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Perform data validation and verification to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools and ensure their resolution.
- Validate the performance and scalability of ETL and Big Data solutions under various scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ETL and Big Data testing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in ETL testing, Big Data testing, and data engineering technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL Testing or Big Data Testing.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in testing ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or other relevant frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
- Experience in designing and executing complex test cases and test scenarios.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
