Role Overview: As an ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our ETL processes. You will be responsible for validating data sources, verifying data extraction precision, and applying transformation logic to load data into the data warehouse. The role also involves designing, testing, and fine-tuning the organization’s data tuning system. If you have a strong background in manual testing, ETL, Power BI, and hands-on experience with Azure and PostgreSQL, we are eager to have you on board.

Responsibilities:

1. Validate the accuracy and completeness of the ETL process by performing data testing and validation.
2. Authenticate data sources to ensure data integrity and reliability.
3. Verify data extraction precision and efficiency from various data sources into the data warehouse.
4. Apply transformation logic to cleanse, map, and transform data during the ETL process.
5. Load data into the data warehouse and ensure data consistency and reliability.
6. Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
7. Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, ensuring data flow accuracy and adherence to business rules.
8. Work on Azure Cloud and PostgreSQL to manage and maintain data infrastructure.
9. Collaborate with the data engineering and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues.
10. Fine-tune the organization’s data tuning system to optimize data processing and improve performance.

Required Skills:

1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ETL testing and related domains.
2. Should be a computer engineer currently based in Malaysia.
3. Proven experience in manual testing, ETL testing, Power BI, Azure, and PostgreSQL.
4. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Bricks and/or Azure Data Factory will be an advantage.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
6. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
7. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in SQL and query optimization to validate data transformations and loading.
9. Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
10. Immediate joiners will be preferred for this position.
