ETL Tester | Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Testing:
  • Perform comprehensive ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality throughout the data processing lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
  • Validate data transformations, data loading, and data extraction processes.
  • Identify, report, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Automation Testing:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Utilize automation tools and frameworks to streamline ETL testing processes.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• SQL:
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations and ensure data consistency.
  • Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Analyze data discrepancies and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Requirements:

• Skills:
  • Strong expertise in ETL Testing and a deep understanding of ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in Automation Testing and experience with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent SQL skills with the ability to write and execute complex queries.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience:
  • Relevant experience in ETL Testing, Automation Testing, and SQL.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
