About the job

Job purpose

As a Testing Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for Automation test script/framework development focused on product functionality, test script creation / execution, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility of our products. You will provide recommendations to improve software programs based on the results. With the support of your team you will be responsible to design test framework, create, execute and automate new and existing test cases.

What will you do?

  • Design and Develop the Automated solution for Sanity Test for various repeatable tests.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using Katalon (Preferred), Selenium (Preferred) tool (Java) Job scheduling by Jenkins / Gitlab
  • Performs in depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers solutions to the development team to resolve the problem
  • API Automation experience in SOAP / Rest API
  • JAVA / Groovy coding exp

What do you need to know?

  • Strong experience in managing automation test projects.
  • Expertise in building automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs Proven experience with GUI / Non- GUI (API) testing web services (Web API)
  • Experience with QA automation tools such as Katalon (Preferred), Selenium (Preferred), Jenkins. Solid experience scripting using Java, Groovy, understanding of XSLT transformation language, computer science concepts such as variables, data types, strings manipulations, regular expressions
  • Familiar with quality assurance principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures. Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving Experience with test management and defect tracking software tools.
  • Work in a collaborative environment and working in a rapidly changing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work exp /at least 4+ years in QA Automation role.
