Senior DevOps Engineer | Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a genuine and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 2 completed projects in the last 5 years. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines. This is a remote position, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support various applications and services.
• Kubernetes and AKS: Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle using industry-standard tools.
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Security Practices: Ensure all DevOps practices and deployments adhere to security standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices and ensure smooth deployments.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues in complex systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 projects in the last 5 years as a DevOps Engineer.
• Azure Expertise: Strong experience in managing and optimizing Azure cloud services.
• Kubernetes and AKS: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Security: Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps are a plus.
