Job Description:
As the DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented DevOps team, overseeing the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our DevOps practices and support the continuous delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development.
- CI/CD Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure efficient and reliable software deployment processes.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and optimize cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code practices.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Develop incident response plans and lead incident resolution efforts.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-6 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a minimum of 1 year in a Team Lead position.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of cloud computing and on-premises infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices.
