Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Practice/Pre-sales professional to join our team in a Pan India capacity. This role requires a robust background in DevOps practices and pre-sales activities, catering to clients across various locations in India. Candidates should have extensive experience ranging from 11 to 25 years, demonstrating proficiency in DevOps methodologies and a strong track record in pre-sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps Practice Leadership:
- Lead and oversee the DevOps practice within the organization.
- Define and implement best practices for DevOps processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide teams to adopt DevOps principles effectively.
- Pre-sales Activities:
- Engage in pre-sales activities including client presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose appropriate DevOps solutions.
- Assist in crafting technical proposals and responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs.
- Provide consultative guidance on DevOps strategies and solutions tailored to client objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating thought leadership in DevOps practices.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge in DevOps tools and technologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in DevOps methodologies.
- Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and industry forums.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 11 to 25 years of progressive experience in DevOps roles, including pre-sales.
- Proven experience in leading and implementing DevOps practices within organizations.
- Strong background in engaging with clients for pre-sales activities and solutioning.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in DevOps tools and technologies, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to architect scalable and reliable DevOps solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership qualities to drive change and innovation.
