Cloud & DevOps Engineer | Bangalore

Job Description:

We are seeking talented Cloud & DevOps Engineers with a solid background in cloud infrastructure, source code management, scripting, and on-premise infrastructure management. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with various DevOps tools and platforms and a strong understanding of Azure Cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline and automate processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source Code Management: Manage and maintain source code repositories using tools like Git and Perforce. Ensure code integrity, version control, and efficient collaboration.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using make, cmake, Python, Groovy, and shell scripts to automate build, deployment, and configuration processes.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee on-premise infrastructure management using VMware tools, Kubernetes (K8S), and K3S. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage Azure Cloud infrastructure for development, verification, and production environments. Ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and cost optimization.
• Operating Systems: Manage and support Linux, iOS, and Windows operating systems, ensuring compatibility and performance across various platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. Facilitate seamless collaboration between development, operations, and QA teams.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes. Maintain high system reliability and availability.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of DevOps processes, configurations, and infrastructure setups.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in Cloud & DevOps, with a strong focus on source code management, scripting, infrastructure management, and cloud platforms.
• Source Code Management Tools: Proficiency in using Git and Perforce for version control and source code management.
• Scripting Languages: Expertise in scripting languages such as make, cmake, Python, Groovy, and shell scripts.
• Infrastructure Management: Hands-on experience with on-premise infrastructure management tools like VMware, Kubernetes (K8S), and K3S.
• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure, including development, verification, and production environments.
• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux, iOS, and Windows operating systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
