Cognizant Technology Services is seeking experienced Java Developers with expertise in the Angular framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular, with recent hands-on experience. This role involves working in a hybrid mode from Bangalore, contributing to cutting-edge projects and collaborating with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
   • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
2. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
   • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
3. System Integration:
   • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect front-end applications with backend systems.
   • Implement microservices architecture to enhance application modularity and maintainability.
4. Performance Optimization:
   • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 3.5+ to 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java / Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Additional Skills:
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (preferred).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
