Role Overview:
As a Test Lead at Linkgroup, you will be responsible for overseeing testing activities, managing a team of testers, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define test strategies, and contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans. Your expertise in functional and automation testing will be key to successfully delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure effective testing processes.
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Oversee the execution of manual and automation testing efforts, identifying defects and anomalies and collaborating with developers to drive resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, providing timely updates to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to test automation efforts by leveraging your knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a significant focus on both functional and automation testing.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in leading and managing testing teams.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
- Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
