Position: Test Automation Engineer(Java/Selenium/Appium)

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various software test techniques and QA methodologies to design and implement effective test automation strategies.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and related processes to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications using Core Java and automation test frameworks like Selenium.
- Leverage cloud-based testing platforms to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the testing process.
- Automate testing for Rest Web Services and Soap Services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accurate results.
- Handle web server-based deployments and perform necessary testing activities.
- Utilize JIRA, Rally, HP ALM QC, or other defect management tools to track and report issues encountered during testing.
- Conduct performance tests automation using tools like JMeter to assess system performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Implement continuous integration practices using tools such as Jenkins or any other suitable tool.
- Play a key role in cultivating a Quality First and Zero Defects culture within the organization.
Preferred Technical Skills/Education:
- Mobile testing automation experience, including familiarity with tools such as Appium.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and networking concepts to effectively test software in complex environments.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in test automation engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in Core Java for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with automation test frameworks, particularly Selenium.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and their implementation.
- Experience in automating tests for Rest Web Services and Soap Services.
- Knowledge of web server-based deployments and associated testing requirements.
- Proficient in using defect management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or HP ALM QC.
- Experience in performance tests automation using tools like JMeter.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration practices, ideally with experience using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a Quality First and Zero Defects culture within a team or organization.
