Position: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium with any programming language (Java/C#/Python/JavaScript).
- Demonstrate logical programming and debugging skills to create efficient and effective automation solutions.
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to optimize test execution and improve test coverage.
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Exhibit strong debugging skills to quickly identify and resolve issues in the automation scripts and frameworks.
- Develop automation frameworks for testing Restful web services, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Experience in configuring jobs and executing TestNG test cases from Jenkins as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and relational databases, including SQL queries.
- Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing as required.
- Work with enterprise-level technologies like Salesforce and Oracle, ensuring proper testing and quality assurance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with related tools.
- Knowledge of REST Assured for testing RESTful APIs.
- Willingness to learn additional technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Flexibility to switch between manual and automation testing based on project needs.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new tools and take initiative.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Effective time-management and prioritization skills.
