Position Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer at I SQUARE SOFT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute test strategies, design and implement automation scripts, and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes. Your expertise in test automation tools, understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), and strong problem-solving skills will be pivotal in driving the success of our projects.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Java (Selenium), Python (Robot Framework), or other equivalent automation testing tools/frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and release.
- Work closely with manual testers to identify suitable scenarios for automation and ensure efficient test coverage.
- Investigate and analyze defects, document and track issues using defect tracking tools, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks and strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and automation.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and test automation.
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle, QA processes, and defect life cycle.
- Strong ability to create, document, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
- Thorough hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright or equivalent tools/frameworks.
- Sound troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Git or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
