Summary: BJIT Limited is currently seeking two highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing software test plans, test designs, test objectives, test cases, and test reports. You will investigate and categorize reported issues, respond to technical support inquiries, and follow Quality Control processes in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience, a good understanding of manual testing, and expertise in automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Katalon Studio, TestNG, and Appium. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Groovy, and Java are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Test Plan Preparation: Develop comprehensive software test plans, including test objectives, designs, and cases, to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  2. Issue Investigation: Investigate and categorize reported issues, working closely with the development team to address and resolve them efficiently.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical support related to software application functions and operation to end-users and stakeholders.
  4. Quality Control: Follow industry-standard Quality Control processes and practices to maintain the highest level of software quality.
  5. Non-Functional Requirements: Extract non-functional requirements from the project specifications to ensure that the software meets performance and scalability expectations.
  6. SDLC & STLC: Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies in an Agile environment.
  7. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and tackle complex testing challenges.
  8. Communication: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that the QA vision is well understood and implemented correctly.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Manual Testing: Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies and practices.
  2. Automation Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Katalon Studio, TestNG, and Appium.
  3. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Groovy, and Java, which are commonly used in test automation.
  4. API Automation: Experience with API automation frameworks like Rest-assured and Karate.
  5. CI/CD Implementation: Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  6. Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web application testing.
  7. API Testing: Clear understanding of API testing concepts and practices.
  8. Automation Reporting: Nice-to-have experience with automation reporting tools like Extend reporting.
