Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer at QAble, you will play a key role in developing and executing test automation strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our clients’ software products. Your expertise in automation frameworks and tools will be critical in enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with the testing team to identify test scenarios suitable for automation and create reusable test cases.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report defects.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test cases.
- Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices.
- Conduct performance testing and analyze system performance metrics.
- Assist in test data preparation and maintenance for automated testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Lead Test Automation
Job Summary: As a Lead Test Automation at QAble, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the test automation team, ensuring the successful implementation of test automation strategies across projects. You will play a crucial role in driving automation excellence and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the test automation team, providing technical guidance and support.
- Define test automation strategies and standards for various projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to plan and prioritize automation tasks.
- Design and develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards within the automation team.
- Monitor and analyze automated test results, identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the testing team to address automation challenges and provide solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing successful test automation frameworks.
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Extensive experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
