Position: Storage QA Engineer
Location: Pune
Ness Digital Engineering, a leading technology company, is currently seeking talented Storage QA Engineers to join our team at the Pune office. If you have 2-6 years of experience and a strong preference for familiarity with the Storage domain, Cloud Native Applications, Micro-services, and Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), we invite you to apply. System-level understanding of operating systems and knowledge of Python/Perl for automation are also highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing activities for storage systems, ensuring the quality and reliability of the software.
- Familiarity with the Storage domain, including concepts of storage devices, data replication, and data recovery.
- Experience with Cloud Native Applications and Micro-services.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- System-level understanding of operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
- Set up test environments for client-server and distributed systems.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Good to have knowledge of Python/Perl for automation and familiarity with automation frameworks.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the Storage domain.
- Strong familiarity with the Storage domain, Cloud Native Applications, and Micro-services.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- System-level understanding of operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
- Experience in setting up test environments for client-server and distributed systems.
- Good to have knowledge of Python/Perl for automation and familiarity with automation frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Work Arrangement:
- This position requires work from the Pune office.
