- Design, automate, execute, and debug test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop automated test cases using #Cypress and #Typescript to perform efficient and reliable test automation.
- Execute test suites in pipelines, generate comprehensive reports, and analyze results to identify and document defects and corresponding fixes.
- Validate and document the completion of testing and development tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and contribute to the overall test strategy.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite to adapt to changing requirements and technology upgrades.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Cypress using #javascript/TypeScript for test automation.
- Proven experience in Web UI automation testing.
- Sound knowledge of backend API testing and an understanding of how web applications work.
- Strong understanding of web application testing methodologies and the software testing lifecycle.
- Experience in REST API automation will be considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Mobile Apps automation will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of any test management tool to efficiently manage test cases and track defects.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
