Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer in Test at Wissen Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. Your expertise in automation testing, Java, and functional testing concepts will contribute to the success of our projects.

- Bring 4-6 years of experience in automation testing and software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Apply strong functional testing concepts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize debugging skills to identify and address issues in test scripts and test cases.
- Conduct testing on REST APIs, ensuring accuracy and robustness of API interactions.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve defects and issues.
- Contribute to test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to the team.
- Participate in test code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Core Java programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience in automation testing using Selenium.
- Solid understanding of functional testing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience conducting testing on REST APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
