Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to validate the functionality, performance, security, and scalability of our software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects, issues, and enhancements using appropriate issue tracking systems.
Participate in test case reviews, design reviews, and other relevant meetings to provide valuable input and ensure product quality.
Continuously enhance and maintain the test automation framework, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency in supporting the testing process.
Contribute to the improvement of the software development lifecycle by advocating for best practices in testing, quality assurance, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, providing detailed and clear reports of findings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or similar role with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in test automation frameworks.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
