Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives, and develop effective test strategies.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
Create and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies, optimizing test scripts for reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
Conduct end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure the overall quality of the software.
Utilize your expertise to identify and prioritize areas for test automation, ensuring thorough coverage of critical use cases and scenarios.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical meetings, providing valuable insights to enhance the software development process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, capturing detailed defect reports and contributing to the improvement of the development lifecycle.
Continuously enhance and expand your technical skill set by staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and documentation, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a minimum of 4-8 years of experience.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with expertise in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Previous experience with cloud-based testing, microservices, and DevOps practices is a plus.
