Position: Senior Test Automation Testing
Location: Work from Office – Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated testing strategies, frameworks, and scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test objectives, test plans, and test cases for various software applications.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
- Perform regression testing, data validation, and integration testing to ensure the overall quality of the software.
- Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for necessary improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for improving the testability, scalability, and maintainability of software applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation testing, data science, AI, and data analytics.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide accurate estimates, status updates, and deliver high-quality deliverables within defined timelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Solid understanding of data science, AI, and data analytics concepts and their application in testing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for developing automated test scripts.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, Selenium WebDriver) will be a plus.
