Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Globant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, you will drive the testing efforts that result in top-notch software experiences.

  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Create robust and scalable automation solutions to validate software functionalities.
  • Test Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define comprehensive test strategies and methodologies. Ensure that test plans align with project goals and objectives.
  • Test Execution: Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects. Conduct regression testing to validate software stability across different releases.
  • Test Frameworks: Utilize test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and maintainability.
  • Technical Excellence: Leverage your technical skills to perform end-to-end automation testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability of software products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for scripting automated tests.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, collaborating effectively in an agile team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
