Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Assume a leadership role within the product team, offering technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, and promoting knowledge sharing.
  2. Independent Work and Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage initiatives to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with and present to internal customers, including product teams and product management, to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
  4. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for our software platforms. Execute tests to verify that all test conditions are met, and analyze and communicate test results effectively.
  5. Quality Engineering Activities: Participate in day-to-day Quality Engineering activities, including peer reviews, defect tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Test Framework Architecture: Provide enterprise-level guidance on test framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and DevOps principles related to software testing of both COTS and custom web solutions.
  7. Expert Knowledge in Testing: Demonstrate expert knowledge of testing concepts, test processes, test design skills, and testing techniques to ensure thorough and efficient testing.
  8. Automation Experience: Possess at least 5+ years of experience in automation testing, utilizing open-source frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jest, as well as conducting API testing using tools like POSTMAN or equivalent.
  9. Testing Grids: Familiarity with Testing Grids, such as BrowserStack, is highly desirable.
  10. Effective Communication: Display exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to clearly articulate ideas and concepts, enabling successful collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  11. Collaboration and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and adapt to changing project requirements.
  12. Problem Solving: Exhibit a strong ability to think on your feet, assess problems, and lead others in finding well-thought-out solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing and quality engineering.
  • Expertise in open-source testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Jest.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using POSTMAN or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Testing Grids such as BrowserStack or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet project schedules.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Immediate joiners are preferred.

EM offers a 100% remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to exciting projects. The salary range for this position is 10-16 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), and immediate joiners will be given special consideration.
