As a Senior QA Engineer at Redica Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving software quality and reliability across our products. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of testing activities, from test planning to execution, and your contributions will be instrumental in delivering top-notch software solutions.   • Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project objectives and quality goals.
  • Test Case Development: Design and develop detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of software functionalities and use cases.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of software products across different platforms.
  • Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report software defects, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Quality Advocacy: Champion best practices for software quality assurance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Test Automation: Collaborate with automation engineers to enhance and expand test automation frameworks, contributing to efficient testing processes.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates, maintaining product stability and functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and innovative testing techniques.
  • Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, contributing to a comprehensive testing repository.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Communicate testing progress, results, and issues in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
  • Strong experience in defect identification, documentation, and collaboration with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, contributing to test automation efforts and enhancing testing efficiency.
  • Knowledge of regression testing methodologies, ensuring product stability and functionality across software updates.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software quality assurance best practices, industry standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address software defects and quality issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in documenting test cases, test results, defects, and other relevant testing artifacts.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
