As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software releases meet quality standards and are free of defects. You will work on a multi-million line source base implemented in Java, and your responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated testing frameworks and scripts. Additionally, you will develop and implement software testing strategies and plans, collaborate with engineering and product management teams, report on testing progress, manage test lab environments, and develop subject matter expertise for different components of the platform. You will also mentor other team members and provide training and support.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of software releases by conducting both white box and black box testing and ensuring that the product meets quality standards.
- Test Automation: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks and scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Testing Strategies: Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans, including test goals, test cases, schedules, bug reporting, and triaging.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering and product management teams to define, refine, and review requirements/user stories and ensure alignment between testing and development.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress and results, identify and communicate potential risks or issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Test Lab Management: Manage test lab environments, including documenting changes, ensuring the availability of required tools, and keeping environments up to date.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop subject matter expertise for different components of the platform to contribute effectively to testing efforts.
- Mentorship: Mentor other team members, provide training, and offer support to help them excel in their roles.
