Position: Senior Automation Tester

Location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Bengaluru.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Automation Testers to join our team in Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Bengaluru. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions in the banking domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation and Manual Testing: With 5 to 7 years of experience in automation testing, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation and manual test cases. Your expertise in using Selenium and Java will enable you to create robust test scripts and frameworks. You will also be involved in manual testing activities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • STLC Process Knowledge: You should possess a thorough understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process. Your knowledge of test planning, test design, test execution, and test closure will be essential in ensuring effective and efficient testing of our software solutions.
  • Test Automation Scripting: You will design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium and Java. Your ability to identify automation opportunities, create reusable scripts, and maintain automation frameworks will contribute to the overall efficiency of our testing process.
  • Defect Management: You should be familiar with defect management processes using tools like Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Your proficiency in tracking, reporting, and managing defects will facilitate timely issue resolution and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers. Your ability to effectively communicate test results, issues, and recommendations will contribute to the success of the testing process.
  • Banking Domain Experience: Experience in the banking domain is preferred. Your knowledge of banking systems, processes, and regulations will enable you to understand and test software solutions effectively within this domain.
  • CI/CD and Additional Skills: Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools, cucumber, and Python will be considered a plus. Your familiarity with these technologies will enhance your effectiveness in implementing automated testing in a CI/CD environment.
  • Notice Period: The notice period for this position is up to 30 days. Preference will be given to immediate joiners.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in automation and manual testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium and Java.
  • Thorough knowledge of the STLC process.
  • Experience in designing and developing test automation scripts.
  • Familiarity with defect management processes using ALM or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in the banking domain is preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD, cucumber, and Python is nice to have.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
