As a Selenium Tester and Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s software solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Selenium Testing: Utilize your expertise in Selenium to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.

2. Programming Skills: Apply your knowledge of Java and Python to enhance test automation and create efficient test scripts.

3. Automation Testing: Perform automation testing to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.

4. Rest API Testing: Conduct testing of Rest APIs to validate their functionality and integration with other components.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Script Development: Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Python.
Test Execution: Execute automated test suites, identify defects, and document results.
Automation Testing: Perform comprehensive automation testing to validate software functionality.
Rest API Testing: Verify the functionality and integration of Rest APIs with other components.
Defect Management: Efficiently identify, record, document, and track software defects, collaborating with the development team for resolution.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

5+ years of Experience: A proven track record in software testing, with a strong focus on Selenium testing.
Selenium: Proficiency in Selenium for web application testing automation.
Java and Python: Strong programming skills in Java and Python to create and maintain automation scripts.
Automation Testing: Experience in automation testing to ensure software quality.
Rest API: Proficiency in Rest API testing to validate functionality and integration.
