Are you a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) looking to make an impact in a product-based and e-commerce organization? We are seeking an SDET with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving key initiatives, from conceptualization to development and product delivery.

As an SDET-Mobile, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our iOS and Android applications. Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Development of iOS/Android Test Automation: You will be tasked with creating and maintaining test automation scripts for mobile applications. Your expertise in mobile test harnesses will be invaluable.
- Automation Script Enhancement: Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation scripts, tools, and frameworks using Java, TestNG, and Appium to ensure the efficiency of the testing process.
- Execution of Automated Tests: Execute automated test plans and regression tests for iOS/Android applications, meticulously recording and analyzing results.
- Testing Strategy Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and scopes for user stories and technical development tasks.
- Estimation: Provide accurate estimates for testing efforts, facilitating better planning and coordination with Product and Engineering teams.
- Test Coverage Maintenance: Maintain and improve test coverage through the implementation of automated tests, ensuring the ratio of automated tests remains high.
- Advocacy of Best Practices: Promote Automated Testing and CI/CD methodologies within the organization. Review and advise on testing methods and best practices.
- Defect Management: Identify, investigate, report, and track defects, facilitating their timely resolution.
- Quality Delivery: Work diligently to deliver high-quality features and infrastructure to production, contributing to the organization’s overall success.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new tools, technologies, and testing disciplines, adapting quickly to changes in the field.
- Self-Motivation: Operate effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating a quick ability to adopt new technologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly across multiple teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Effective Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with the SQA manager, sharing concerns and status updates in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A proven track record of improving quality in previous roles.
- 4+ years of test automation experience with expertise in iOS/Android app testing.
- Proficiency in TestNG, Java, Appium, and XCUITest, with strong programming skills using Java.
- Experience in Selenium webdriver.
- Familiarity with Xcode instruments and tools like BrowserStack for app automation.
- Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Profound knowledge of test design, test automation frameworks, and scripting tests.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git, DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines (AWS, Athena, Redshift Spectrum, Postgres, SQL, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in API automation testing using JEST, Mocha, REST Assured, or similar frameworks is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
- Experience with Scrum methodologies and remote teams is a valuable asset.
