Million IQ Solutions, a leading Software Testing company, is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team in Bangalore. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and implementing automated test frameworks, as well as conducting various testing activities. Responsibilities:

  1. Test Automation Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Implement automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright.
  2. Mobile Automation:
    • Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright.
    • Create and execute test scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and stability of mobile applications.
  3. Web/API Automation (Good to have):
    • Knowledge of web and API automation testing, with the ability to implement automated test scenarios.
    • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  4. Test Strategy and Planning:
    • Work closely with the QA team and development team to understand software requirements and define test strategies.
    • Participate in test planning activities, identifying test cases and scenarios for automation.
  5. Test Execution and Defect Reporting:
    • Execute automated test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects and inconsistencies.
    • Document and report test results, defects, and issues in a clear and organized manner.
  6. Continuous Integration and Deployment:
    • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and delivery.
    • Monitor and maintain automated test suites to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Test Documentation:
    • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
    • Keep track of test progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong expertise in mobile automation using WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with web and API automation testing will be considered a good-to-have skill.
  • A solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders.
