Job Summary:

As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce projects. Your expertise in testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve defects. Proficiency in Salesforce platform, Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs will be essential to excel in this role. Experience in test automation tools like Selenium, Apex testing, or similar frameworks will be highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce Testing: Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce projects to verify that they meet specified requirements and adhere to best practices.
2. Test Case Design: Design comprehensive test cases to cover all aspects of Salesforce functionality, including workflows, triggers, data integrity, and integrations.
3. Defect Management: Report and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
4. Salesforce Platform Expertise: Utilize your strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs to ensure efficient and effective testing.
5. Test Automation: Implement test automation using tools like Selenium, Apex testing, or similar frameworks to streamline testing processes.
6. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to validate that software updates and changes do not impact existing functionality negatively.
7. Integration Testing: Conduct integration testing to validate seamless data flow and interactions with external systems.
8. Test Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and test reports to provide clear and concise information to stakeholders.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth testing process and timely issue resolution.
10. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies to enhance overall quality assurance practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce QA Engineer, with a proven track record of successful testing and quality assurance in Salesforce projects.
2. Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
3. Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
4. Experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Apex testing, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
