- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and features related to CAD software.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for CAD software applications.
- Identify, report, and track defects in the software, ensuring their timely resolution.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of CAD software.
- Ensure adherence to software testing practices, processes, and industry standards.
- Participate in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to convey test results and project status.
- Provide valuable feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality and user experience of CAD software products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of software testing practices, methodologies, and processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software and related engineering tools.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks will be beneficial.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
