Role Overview: As a Quality Analyst at Electrovese Solutions Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, including mobile apps, web apps, and APIs. You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to understand project requirements, create test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and report defects and issues. Your expertise in test data creation, problem-solving skills, and effective communication will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  2. Conduct manual testing of mobile apps, web apps, and APIs to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  3. Utilize automation testing tools and frameworks to perform automated testing and enhance testing efficiency.
  4. Create and maintain test data for various test scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  5. Identify and report defects, issues, and improvements in a clear and detailed manner using appropriate defect tracking tools.
  6. Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to provide input on testability and potential quality risks.
  7. Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
  8. Work closely with the product team to validate user stories and acceptance criteria.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by refining testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide testing status updates and ensure a smooth development and testing process.

Required Skills:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Analyst or Software Tester.
  2. Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills are essential for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
  3. Proven experience in manual and automated testing of mobile apps, web apps, and APIs.
  4. Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks for automation testing.
  5. Demonstrated ability to create test data to support various test scenarios.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, isolate, and report defects accurately.
  7. Passion for delivering high-quality software products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  8. Familiarity with defect tracking tools to report and manage defects throughout the testing process.
