Job Summary:

As a Quality Analyst at CodeTribe Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough testing, both manual and automated, to identify and resolve any defects or issues in our applications. You will be an integral part of our development team, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of exceptional software products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
  2. Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  3. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of the application functionality.
  4. Defect Identification: Report and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  5. Test Execution: Execute test cases and document test results, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
  6. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  7. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system stability, response times, and scalability under different conditions.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies to enhance the overall quality assurance practices.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to foster a collaborative and proactive approach to quality assurance.
  10. Industry Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Quality Analyst or a similar role in software testing.
  2. Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
  3. Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  4. Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
  5. Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  6. Familiarity with defect tracking tools and version control systems.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  8. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in testing activities.
  9. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  10. Knowledge of programming languages and scripting languages is a plus.
