Position: E Mobile Automation Engineer
Location: Hyderabad/Gurugram/Pune/Noida
Technical Skill Requirements: Mandatory Skills: Android, iOS, Python, Appium, Selenium
Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled QE Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in Python to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing test strategies, test planning, and test approaches for our products. They will be involved in the entire QA process, including the design, execution, and maintenance of test scenarios and test cases for various applications across different platform offerings. The candidate should have a good understanding of the Agile methodology and be a proactive team player. The role will require working from the office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively as a team player and take ownership of project deliverables.
- Apply strong reasoning and analytical skills to understand the QA process and execute test activities efficiently.
- Design and develop test strategies, test plans, and test approaches for products.
- Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional, manual, and web-based applications across different platforms.
- Detect and report defects, ensuring timely follow-up and issue closure.
- Participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Refactor existing automation frameworks as per the project requirements.
- Prioritize sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective activities, driving sprints or releases to closure.
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) using Jenkins would be a significant advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium with Python.
- Prior experience in testing Android and iOS applications.
- Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.
- Proficient in designing automation frameworks from scratch or modifying existing ones.
- Thorough understanding of sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective processes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) practices using Jenkins is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
