As a QA Tester at Persistent Systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for performing automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver, and you should possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Automation Testing: Conduct automation testing to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Java and Selenium WebDriver: Utilize your expertise in Java and Selenium WebDriver to create and execute automated test scripts.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to plan and design test scenarios and test cases based on project requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, record and analyze test results, and report defects to the development team.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure alignment on quality standards and testing requirements.
- Defect Reporting: Isolate, replicate, and report defects, and verify defect fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test scripts, test cases, and test results.
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test scripts.
- Ability to execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects.
- Knowledge of regression testing and its importance in software quality assurance.
- Detail-oriented with a strong passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
