Position Overview: As a QA Test Engineer at Lancesoft India, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for utilizing various testing technologies, including Selenium, Rest-Assured, SOAP UI, and Postman. Your expertise in test automation frameworks, programming languages, and your ability to work in an agile environment will contribute to the success of our projects.

- Bachelor’s degree required, with educational emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Development, Information Systems, and/or Web Development.
- Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience in software development and/or software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in utilizing manual and automated tests with different technologies and tool sets.
- Extensive experience with test automation technologies in an agile-driven development environment: Selenium, Rest-Assured, SOAP UI, and Postman.
- Strong proficiency in JAVA and VBScript.
- Familiarity with Test Automation frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber.
- Ability to create new or update existing automation code/framework based on project requirements.
- Experience in at least one of the following: API testing, Salesforce CPQ testing, testing cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (NodeJS, .NET, etc) and RESTful web services.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment using tools like Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, and integrating test automation with a DevOps tool stack.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing requirements, and an ability to challenge assumptions.
- A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, willingness to learn from both successes and failures.
- Ability to collaborate with geographically diverse teams.
- Proven ability to tackle challenges with urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Bonus or Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of DevOps processes and practices.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Ruby, Python, Perl).
- Familiarity with geographically diverse teams and environments.
