Position Summary: TEKsystems is seeking an experienced and motivated QA Test Engineer to join our QA team. As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will leverage your expertise in QA testing, Java, Selenium, and API automation to develop and execute effective testing strategies. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality software will directly contribute to the success of our projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and software functionality.
- Design, develop, and execute test scripts using Java and Selenium to validate the functionality and performance of web applications.
- Perform API automation testing to verify the integrity and functionality of APIs.
- Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles to design and execute comprehensive test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration tests to validate the software’s compliance with requirements.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test script development activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure testing efforts align with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a QA Test Engineer, QA Analyst, or similar role with 3 – 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
- Strong understanding of API automation testing and related tools.
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and principles.
- Experience with test case design, test script development, and test execution.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
