- Bug Finding and Testing:
- Perform thorough testing to find bugs, defects, and regressions in information technology products.
- Validate and document the completion of testing and development activities.
- Test Case Design and Execution:
- Design and implement test cases and scripts for information technology testing.
- Execute test cases to ensure the functionality and reliability of the software.
- Debugging and Verification:
- Debug test cases to identify issues and resolve them effectively.
- Verify fixes and ensure that the software meets the required quality standards.
- Test Automation:
- Automate test cases to increase testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize tools such as Cypress or Katalon Studio for test automation.
- Web Application Testing:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of web application testing and the testing lifecycle.
- Understand backend API testing and how the web works.
- Test Management:
- Utilize a test management tool to organize and track testing activities.
- Database Programming:
- Have strong knowledge of database programming, including data verification and writing SQL queries.
- Preferably, have experience with T-SQL.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a QA Test Engineer.
- Knowledge of backend API testing and web application functionality.
- Experience in Test Automation using tools like Cypress or Katalon Studio.
- Strong understanding of the testing lifecycle and web application testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using any test management tool.
- Sound knowledge of database programming, with experience in data verification and writing SQL queries, preferably T-SQL.
