Key Responsibilities:

As a QA Lead at Hanuvel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your leadership and technical expertise will guide a team of dedicated quality assurance professionals, and your contributions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project objectives and quality goals.
  • Test Case Development: Oversee the design and development of detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of software functionalities and use cases.
  • Test Execution: Guide and supervise the execution of manual and automated test cases, ensuring accuracy and reliability across different platforms.
  • Defect Management: Manage the identification, documentation, and reporting of software defects, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Quality Assurance Expertise: Leverage your understanding of test automation frameworks, software development methodologies, and quality assurance practices to drive excellence throughout the testing process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices for software quality assurance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and optimizing testing processes.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Quality Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze quality metrics, generating reports that provide insights into testing progress, results, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools, contributing to increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation & Communication: Oversee the maintenance of clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and other relevant testing artifacts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a Team Lead role.
  • Proven ability to work with and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, showcasing your technical foundation.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, software development methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
  • Experience in defect identification, documentation, and collaboration with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
