Job Summary: As a QA Engineer at Zessta Software Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise in automation testing, using tools like Selenium and Cypress, combined with your programming skills in Java or Python, will be instrumental in designing and executing effective test cases. Additionally, your knowledge of CI/CD and Docker will facilitate seamless integration and deployment of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Utilize your experience in automation testing to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various software products.
- Selenium and Cypress: Demonstrate proficiency in using Selenium and Cypress for web application testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Programming Skills: Utilize your Java or Python programming skills to create and maintain automation test scripts and test frameworks.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for streamlined and automated testing.
- Docker: Use Docker containers to create and manage test environments, allowing for consistent and reproducible testing.
- Test Case Design: Design comprehensive test cases based on software requirements and specifications to ensure accurate validation of functionalities.
- Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify and document defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Test Data Management: Manage and create test data sets to support testing activities and ensure test scenarios cover all possible scenarios.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software updates and ensure that new features do not impact existing functionalities.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the performance testing team to validate software performance and ensure optimal user experience.
- Test Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results for effective test coverage and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Quality Assurance Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in using Selenium and Cypress for web application testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python for test script development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
- Knowledge of Docker for creating and managing test environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in performance testing and test data management is a plus.
