Role and Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer / SDET, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation frameworks and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage for our client’s software applications. Your role will involve working closely with Agile specifications to design tests that verify functionality and expected behavior.

1. Automation Framework Development:
   • Develop robust and scalable automation frameworks that facilitate efficient test automation.
   • Implement automation best practices to enhance the overall testing process.
2. Test Automation:
   • Create and automate test cases to validate the functionality of software applications.
   • Ensure that test automation provides adequate coverage for different application modules.
3. Agile-Based Test Design:
   • Collaborate with Agile development teams to design test cases based on specified functionality and expected behavior.
   • Align testing efforts with Agile development sprints to ensure timely and effective test execution.

Must-Have Skills:

1. Python Coding:
   • Demonstrated strong hands-on experience in coding with Python.
   • Utilize Python to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
2. SQL Queries:
   • Possess strong experience in writing SQL queries.
   • Use SQL queries to interact with databases for data validation and verification.
3. Linux or Unix:
   • Proficiency in working with Linux or Unix environments.
   • Perform testing on various platforms to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with other programming languages and technologies relevant to test automation.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA Engineering or SDET roles.
• Strong technical skills with expertise in Python coding and SQL queries.
