Position Overview: As a QA Engineer at Physicswallah, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for manual testing and will collaborate closely with development and product teams to deliver features of high quality. Your expertise in testing methodologies, API testing, mobile app testing, and your ability to work in an agile environment will contribute to the success of our products.

- Conduct manual testing of the company’s software products, including web, API, and mobile apps.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and deliver features of high quality.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards.
- Create detailed test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and report issues using defect tracking tools.
- Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ensure testing activities align with project timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing insights into testing processes and strategies.
Skills Required for the Role: Mandatory:
- 5 – 8 years of proven work experience in testing web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience with API and microservices testing using tools like Postman.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing mobile apps.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver bug-free software.
Good to Have:
- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
- Knowledge of API automation using RestAssured or Karate.
- Familiarity with automated testing using Selenium.
