As a QA Engineer at IPAC Automation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Create comprehensive testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and bug reports to ensure a structured and organized testing process.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers, to understand product challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback to ensure a clear understanding of testing objectives.
- Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within specified schedules and timelines to meet project milestones.
- Foster strong collaboration across multiple teams, actively engaging with software engineers and other stakeholders to achieve efficient testing processes and project success.
- Develop and manage operational processes to align QA practices with technology delivery standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Effectively communicate and address scope changes that may impact testing efforts, providing a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Mentor other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster professional growth within the QA team.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Test Automation principles and practices, driving continuous improvement in test automation efforts.
- Utilize hands-on experience with API testing tools, such as SOAP UI and ReadyAPI, to verify API functionality and integration.
- Apply hands-on experience with Selenium, including framework design and implementation, to automate web application testing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Groovy scripting to develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks.
- Create performance test cases using tools like JMeter, ensuring software performance meets specified requirements.
- Understand business logic and user scenarios to design test cases that accurately reflect real-world usage.
- Possess a solid foundation in Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and Data Structures to build efficient and effective test scenarios.
- Exhibit strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, identifying and resolving issues during the testing process.
- Display a good understanding of SQL, enabling effective database testing.
- Utilize hands-on experience with bug management tools to efficiently track and resolve reported issues.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Git version control to collaborate effectively within the development team.
- Contribute to Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) practices, integrating testing processes seamlessly into the development workflow.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or related role, with 2 to 10 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in test automation, utilizing tools like Selenium and API testing tools (SOAP UI, ReadyAPI).
- Proficiency in Java and Groovy scripting for test automation and framework development.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter to evaluate software performance.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
